The Long Term Effects of Child Abuse:

The threads of childhood trauma run through the body and the mind causing a feedback loop that unless interrupted can intrude upon life.

The healing story: As seasoned therapists who have experienced trauma in their own lives they are able to tell their story from the place of personal experience and from the place of professional understanding.

This presentation is a journey like no other.  A mixture of clinical knowledge and heartfelt, compassionate understanding – participants will take with them a deeper understanding of adults and children who have experiences sexual and physical abuse.

For therapists, counselors, substance abuse counselors, nurses, teachers, and the general public.

Connie and Marcel are currently collaborating with Amber Ward, on a DVD based on the book Common Threads which will be used in workshop presentations.
